Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is also known as relaxation massage. This type of massage can be very soothing and will gently ease all of the stress out of your body. Massage strokes tend to be long and luxurious and feel wonderful. For a real "spa" experience, this is the way to go!
Deep Tissue Massage/Sports Massage
Often therapists refer to this type of work as Muscle Therapy. The massage may focus on troubled or sore areas of the body and will work more deeply into specific muscles. A Deep Tissue Massage may be great for helping heal injuries or work out those "kinks" you may get in certain areas of your body. When combined with Swedish-style massage techniques, a Deep Tissue Massage may be just what the doctor ordered.
Thai Massage
Thai massage is performed on a soft mat on the floor. It has been described as “having yoga done to you.” The receiver is taken through a number of assisted stretches where the therapist uses their whole body to manipulate and direct the receiver into various positions similar to those in a yoga practice. One can feel relaxed, energized and experience a sense of deep peace. Recommended session time is 90 minutes.
