TO REGISTER: LIV BERGER is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and has resided in
Chicago since 1993. In 1997, she proudly opened Body Endeavors LLC as a
studio for Pilates, Massage Therapy and other wellness disciplines.
Liv began teaching Pilates upon arrival in Chicago, and certified
originally with Master Teacher, Romana Kryzanowska. Simultaneously, she
also went through extensive training to become a Certified Massage
Therapist, which she found to greatly enhance and inform her Pilates
teaching. From 2002-2009 Liv partnered with Power Pilates to become the
original Affiliate Training Center for the Midwest region, and Lead
Teacher Trainer. With this opportunity she was able to travel all over
the US teaching workshops, Certification programs and at Conferences.
In 2009 Liv and Body Endeavors became a Master Training Center for
Redcord Suspension Exercise which she finds is a compliment to any
Pilates or Wellness program. To add to the mix, in 2010 Liv also became
the Regional Pilates Coordinator for Fitness Formula Clubs based out of
Chicago. With a busy schedule, she still likes to focus on her real
passion - teaching to teachers and students of all kinds. Liv is
especially excited to continue to bring her her longtime friend and
collegue, Shari Berkowitz from NYC in to the studio to teach workshops
and sessions to teachers and clients. TOM WALTERS
earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Montana
State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from
Chapman University. After graduating from physical therapy school, Tom
completed a year-long residency series in orthopaedic physical therapy.Tom is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified Redcord Neurac therapist/instructor. Tom has experience in a number of clinical settings including orthopaedic private practice, long-term care, traveling therapy and sports medicine as a physical therapist in Cirque du Soleil’s Performance Medicine department. Besides his clinical practice, Tom has served as an adjunct instructor in the Kinesiology Department at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where he taught human biomechanics and motor behavior. He has also served as an Editorial Advisory Group Member for the American Physical Therapy Association's Perspectives magazine and as a contributing author at PutMeBackTogether.com. om lives in Santa Barbara, CA with his wife, Kirsten, and daughter, Reese.

In this course you will learn the basics of how to use the ropes to teach a variety of exercises - prone, supine, side-lying, kneeling and standing with their variations. These exercises integrate nicely into your Pilates workouts, or even can be used as a separate workout all by itself! A great course for fitness professionals of all kinds!
